28/26

Whenever I tell people that John and I have the same birthday, people typically think it's cool for all of 2 seconds before they start feeling bad that we have to share our day. It's bizarre to me why people would feel bad about this. I mean, I guess I get it, but still, sharing your birthday with your husband is awesome, not terrible. It's like a double holiday for us, and we both get to feel "important" for 24 hours together. I kind of love it. And it's kind of awesome.

I know of one other couple that share a birthday, it's a rarity, and it makes me feel like we're in some exclusive club that's tricky to get into. Kind of awesome if you ask me.

So, here's to another birthday spent together. And to all of you feeling bad for us because we have to share our day today, don't, because like I said, it's pretty much the best thing ever! How about I feel bad for all of you instead!

We've actually contemplated having all of our children born on September 30th, too. We'll let you know how that goes...

Happy birthday, Amy! Now I feel bad that we sent John a birthday card, but I didn't have you on our birthday calendar yet. Oops! I'll try to get it right next year! Anyway, I hope you have a really fun day, right along with John!!

You two sharing a birthday reminds me of our sharing our anniversary with the whole world on Valentine's Day. Some might think we gypped ourselves, only getting one "Lover's Holiday" per year instead of two, but I just think it's fun to see all the stores and everyone getting all lovey dovey right around the date of our wedding. How nice of them, ha ha! So the pros out-weigh the cons : ). Here's to combining holidays for the sake of togetherness and extra-special celebrations!

Not as exclusive as a club as you might think. All twins share a birthday. So... there you go. Happy birthday nonetheless.

I'm glad you like sharing a bday. I still hate having my bday on Valentine's Day and I vow to make sure no child of mine ever has to share that misery. :)

I still think it's random and awesome you two share the day. Mine and Brian's mom both have the same bday. That's kinda cool, too, right?

Well Happy Birthday. Weston and I are in that club too. Were you talking about us??? Anyway I don't like the saying the word hate, But I really do hate sharing MY day with my hubby. I so loved my birthday all growing up and now I don't have my special day anymore. I make the birthday cake, I throw the party, I buy all the presents, I do all the decor. And our first daughter was way too close to being born on our birthday. We obviously did not think that one out. Oh my goodness I sound so negative but I'm glad you enjoy your day together. :)

Happy Birthday kids!!! I'm so sorry I missed it!!! I guess I was kind of "out of it" but I'm sure you understand.
Your dad has his plane ticket in hand to come to your party, but alas, he stayed at Stanford with me. Anyway LOVE to you Both!!!
