June's Goal

May's goal was an epic failure, with a capital F! Working out six times a week. Totally doable, or so I thought. And then the month of packing up our lives, family in town, graduation, moving, getting sick,  and a spur of the moment road trip to California happened, and thus a month of total failure was the end result. Good intentions at least, right?

You win some, you lose some.

And so begins a new month, and a new goal. A new goal that I just decided today. Perhaps an ambitious goal, since I've somehow turned into someone who rarely touches a book. But that's why these monthly goals are good for me, they push me. So this month, I've decided to turn myself into a book worm. So, if you have an suggested reading material for me, you're more than welcome to send them my way.

Four books. Four weeks. I think I can do it. I have to. I can't fail two months in a row. Now that would be despicable.

I can bring you a good book when I come in a few weeks (or send to you ahead of time, if you'd like). I suddenly forget what it's called, but it's really good. It takes place in Seattle. I read it in 2 days. Couldn't put it down.

I just read The Rent Collector by Cameron Wright. I read it in a day and a half. I couldn't put it down. I also read Killing Kennedy, which was interesting, but not as good as Killing Lincoln. Go take a trip to the Sandy Library for me. :)

Andrea's book was "Hotel On the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" it's excellent. With a house full of books, read, read, read. I'll play with the little one. I bet your library card is still good. A trip to the library is always fun.

"Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn was a really fast, fun read.
